Oh, how exciting! Your Rowland was the brother of my 2xgt grandfather William Fishwick.
They were the sons of John Fishwick and Agnes Pennington.
I know a couple of the sons of Agnes Fishwick and Joseph Bryce emigrated to America - are you descended from one of those?

Rowland and William had other siblings, one of which was named Thomas and I am in contact with a descendant of his, Fiona Shakspear.

Rowland was born in Kirby Stephen, Westmorland and Mary Ann was born in Trawden, Lancashire in 1828.

Rowland and Mary Ann married 15 February 1847 in Keighley.

The Fishwick family were from Westmorland.

I'll leave it there for the moment but I have lots of info on these Fishwicks [14 years worth!]
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Judith Kettlewell in England [Where are you]
