Fishwick family

I have found a branch of the Fishwick family in Lathom, Lancashire. They were boatmen on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. In the 1841 Census they lived at Frog Lane, Lathom.
Does anyone know anything about them? The father's name was Thomas Fishwick (born 1796 in Aughton) and the mother was Catherine (born c1798 in Lathom). I think their son Thomas (born 1822) was my ggg grandfather.
