Angela,

In the late-1700s quite a number of Central Lancashire Fishwicks migrated into the rapidly developing Liverpool area. The descendants of some then found their way south into Cheshire. In addition, though, there had been a few Fishwicks in Cheshire and Staffordshire from very early times.

Beyond those generalities I'm afraid I can't help much at present, but will put your information into my database and hopefully something will eventually link up. Do let us know if you find anything more by other routes.
