Lori,
Have you looked to see what other Fisks lived in Abington, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania?

I noted that there were two other Fisks families living in Abington in the 1840 census and one, Squire Fisk is a name that I have only seen associated with the Rhode Island Fisks.

The other Fisk is a John so that doesn't really help, just too many John's to be of any geographical assistance.

Have you tried to see if you could get a copy of any of their probate records?

I'll keep my eyes open but I already have a number of open Fisk projects right now so I can't really offer too much help right now.

If you have any other info it could help pinpoint a single family to research.

Good luck with your research,
Bob Birt
