help with John Fiske
Posted by: Sue (ID *****2832) Date: October 30, 2004 at 08:35:12

I need a little help with two John Fiskes that I have. One is John, son of Phineas. I believe he was called John the Constable to distinguish himself from the Rev. John Fiske. The other John is his son, Dr. John Fiske. I believe one of them was injured as a soldier in the Battle of Turner's Falls. I believe it may be the son, Dr. John, as he would have been in his 20's during that war. Anyone have any concrete evidence of this? Thanks.
