Hi!
Thanks so much for writing! My grandfather was born Robert Leroy Fiske, I believe in Connecticut, circa 1910. His father, Dorno Fiske must have born between 1875-1880. Dorno's wife was Mabel, maiden name unknown. Together, they had 13 children, my grandfather being the youngest.
Dorno, like my grandfather, enjoyed drinking quite a bit. I was told by my mother that Dorno had "really tied one on" when, on a "dare", decided to steal the train! I would love to have the story verified. My mother said that it made headlines!
Respectfully,
Cathy
