Bob,
I found Amherst Morse, b.11 Nov 1760, Shrewsbury,MA, parents Ebenezer Morse & Persis Bush, m. Azubah Fisk in Boylston, MA, 15 May 1786, in Ancestry's Family Data Collection. Their Massachusetts Marriages 1633-1830 shows Azubath Fish m. Amherst Morse same date same place.I found Ebenezer Morse in Windham Co, VT d. 1813 and 2 Amherst Morses, one listed as selectman early in Newfane,Windham, VT and one also from Newfane served at 21 in the Civil War. Hale says Catharine Fiske taught in Dover, Windham Co., VT abt. 1800.

There's a Guardianship record with Azubah Fisk's name in Worcester Co. Probate Records, record date 1786

Also found Azubah Fisk,b. Worcester Co., 13 Jun 1768, parents John Fisk & Azubah Moore, m. Jonas Goulding, 12 Aug 17897 Worcester Co.

And to make it more interesting, an Azubah Morse m. Samuel Seaver, 13 Jan 1793 Northboro, MA.

Judy Robinson
