Re: Sybil/Sibella Gould, I recently read online a history of persecution of Puritans during the reign of Queen "Bloody" Mary, the rabid Catholic Queen, that Sybil Gould and her sister Isabella were imprisoned in Norwich Castle in Norfolk and that their brothers were able to secure their release because of their associations with friends in "high places." Subsequent to that, Sybil and Robert fled to Geneva, a haven for Dissenters, until things calmed down sufficiently for them to return to England. I am tantalized by the possibility that Sybil/Sibella and Isabella are one and the same and not sisters...although I have seen postings indicating that they were born several years apart. As I am one of the many descendants of Sybil, I would like to know of a well documented lineage for her. Thanks!
