Hi, Bob-
Actually it does say what they were playing: bunco, a game that seems to come into and go out of favor every 50 years or so. My mother (age 93) remembers when Chicago had "bunco squads," police whose job it was to track down ladies playing with dice! And I heard now of bunco groups. What's old is new again. E
