Hmmm...
Dr. Joseph Fiske Jr. b. Lexington, Middlesex Co., Ma. 25 Dec 1752. Son of Dr. Joseph Fiske and Hepzibah Raymond.
Married Elizabeth Stone, (b. 13 Nov 1770, also in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Ma.,) on 31 July 1794 in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Ma.

Interestingly, the Joseph Fisk Jr. listed in 1790 in Wake Co. NC as head of household, has one free white male under 16 and two other free white females living in his home with him.

If this is the same Joseph Fiske Jr. the children and wife cannot be Elizabeth and their children as they did not marry and have children for another 4 years.

The question is did he have another wife and family before Elizabeth because he was certainly old enough to have, he would have been 38 in 1790, or... is this another Joseph Fisk Jr.?

I suppose this is why this question has never been answered in the 200+ years since the 1790 census.

Hope this helped but I'm afraid it probably didn't.
