Thanks loads for responding. I've got lots and lots of inforomation, etc on the Copelands but nothing on the Fiske's.

Your saying that the Fiske's dropped the e off Fiske explains why I've seen the name both ways.

I understand Jasper Newton Copeland and Margaret Fisk married 6-8-1854 in Overton Co., TN.

Thanks for all the Fiske names ... I'll do some research on all of them and maybe come up with something.

I do have a picture of my GrGrGrandMother, Selina Fisk Jackson .... would you like to see it .... maybe there's a family resemblance ....
