I was born in Baldwin Street Smethwick December 1934. My father, Walter Fitter, was born in Vine Street, Aston Manor, in March 1907. My G/Father was Thomas Horatio Fitter, born March 1860, 2 Court Barrack Street Aston. Died 1946 aged 86. My G/G/Father was Thomas Fitter, married to Mary Ann 'nee Robinson. In the 1881 census they lived in Cromwell Street Aston. Three daughters, Mary Ann 30, Maria 25,Susan 24,and one son, Thomas H, at 21 the youngest(my G/father) I know of no other children. Thomas H married twice. First to Elizabeth Thrasher, five children, Lizzie, Nell, Harry,Thomas, and Charlie. In 1898 Thomas married Mary Ann Parker at Christchurch in West Bromwich. Seven children, in order of birth(I believe)Elsie, Frank, Florrie, Walter(my father), Albert, and Violet.
