I would like to extend an invitation for you to join our group DNA project for the FITTS/FITZ families. If interested post a message to me and I will send you information on how you can join, if you so wish. The information below shows the test results we have already completed. Included below is the family line taken as far back as possible at this time, this shows the family member that is the connection. We have one exact match. 13 22 15 10 13 14 11 14 11 13 11 29 (New England Family) Robert Fitts Eng/MA 1617-1665, Abraham Eng/MA 1629?-1676, Abraham Jr. 1655-1714, Robert MA 1690-1753, Benjamin MA 1727-1803, Andrew MA 1773-1849, Harrison MA/NY 1815-1900, Lewis C. They also had a sister name Keziah who married Henry Crittenden in 1807, Elbert County, GA. It also backs up the book “FITTS AND ALLIED FAMILIES” by the Long Swamp Valley Historical Society in Georgia. 13 24 14 11 11 14 12 12 13 13 13 29 (North Carolina Family) Henry Fitts VA 1700?-1752, Henry VA 1734-1802, Henry NC 1778-1847, Henry Green NC 1811-1849, James Henry NC 1836-1861, Henry Bird VA. 1856-1930 13 22 14 10 14 14 11 14 11 12 11 29 (South Carolina Family) Reuben Fitts VA/AL 1780-1854, Henry SC/MS 1806-1880, Harrison Stanfield AL/LA 1826-1860, James Thomas AL 1854-1932, George Washington AL 1892-1975. We have not hear from the Fitts family reunion in Tennessee with connections to North Carolina. Also asking members of the FITZ line to join our project. Some Fitz changed their name spelling to Fitts and some Fitts to Fitz. England and Germany being the strongest connection. Hope you will join us. If you have questions feel free to ask and I will try my best to answer. Thanks, Brady Fitts Notify Administrator about this message?
