I have a James Fitz (b.1849-d.1931). I have no idea what his wife's name was; it's possible her maiden name was Moreland. I was told he came from Holland to Germany to New England. His children are listed as: Samuel, Sarah Mae, Maime, Olive, Grace, Loyd, George, Roy, Paul, Vernon. Sarah Mae (1886-1972) was my great grandmother who married Francis William McKenna (1883-1953). Does any of this info ring a bell with you? Are they related to the James in your family tree? I believe at some time Sarah and Francis lived in Lynchburg, VA - I don't know how they got there or if other family lived there. I do know that they and their children all ended up in PA - but I believe they were in Westmoreland County. Any info would be appreciated.
