Found the following reference while searching for something entirely different.
“William Leake Folder: Letter dated August 24, 1852 from Pleasant Valley and signed James Fitz [of Albemarle], grandson of William Leake. William Leake enlisted from his native County of Goochland. James Leake, his son, states that his father served under Gen. Muhlenburg, was at the seige of Yorktown. William Leake died in 1808. “My grandmother Priscilla Leake died in August 1816.””
