I have been researching the Fitts family for about twenty years. I have compiled many documents on the names you have mentioned. I have also looked at the Winfrey Bible records. At this time I have ask over a period on this site and others if those using the name William Woodson Pass Fitts to tell us where this name came from. So far no one has been able to present any documentation to prove the name ever existed. I agree there was a Woodson Fitts who married Tabitha Winfrey. This is my family and out of approximately 15 researchers we all agree, no documentation. If you have documentation to prove the name please help us with where we can go to get copies of that documentation. The same goes for your Robert (Tandy) Walker Fitts. In research in Halifax County, VA we can find an prove documents for the following individuals Tandy, John, Robert, Thomas, and Walker. These are all individuals.
