Pat,
I recently discovered that my ggg grandfather, William Weston, married Elizabeth Fitz, in John's Island, Charleston, SC on June 25, 1806. This Weston family also had connections with the Lowrys. One daughter of William and Elizabeth (Abigail, Elizabeth, or Rebecca) married a Lowry of SC. I wonder if there could be some connection. Let me know if you run across these names in any of your research. Since your woman was Mary Ann REBECCA, maybe she was a sister of my Elizabeth and therefore our Rebecca was named for your Rebecca?? You may reply to be at jherring@snowhill.com. Thanks and good luck.
