I have checked the DNA before- I found my James & Maria( Sullivan) Fitzgibbon info there-some time ago.
Several of your cousins thought at first there was a definite connect . However since that time they have about 99% dismissed the connection. I havent looked at the DNA to see if there are any updates lately.
I still question if everything about James & Maria is not right then why is Patrick married to Mary Carey in my tree and yours? Could there be 2 Patrick's married to 2 Mary Carey's??
What was John B's date of birth? Where was he born?
There are several brothers of Mary Mcdonnell that also married & live in Cook Illinois too. Do you have a tree on the Ancestry.com ??
What year was James F & Mary Markahan born & married& dates??
Do you have a birth record for your John -born 1 Dec 1845?
Was his first name Thomas or John? If it was John & He was the oldest then huis father = John.
More questions than answers I am afraid:(
Bye for now
Jay
