Hello! I'm Jane MacHale, of Marshall's Creek, PA. I have a brother, Douglas Randolph Mayhew. So thrilled for Casey- I MUST find his line! I kept pointing to the TV & telling my two sons- "LOOK! It's your cousin!" I feel a tad silly, but hey, we ARE family! I found my line through Joan Hooper, of Clinton, NJ, who had placed an ad in Yankee Magazine a handful of years ago looking for all of us FitzRandolphs. I hear she found quite a few of you. She is my Mom's second cousin & we never knew her! I arranged the meeting & Joan, my mom, & my aunt have been to England to see the old stomping grounds. I don't have the line right in front of me, but either my mom or aunt has the FitzRandolph Traditions book. My grandfather was Herbert F. Randolph, Jr. of Westfield, NJ, then of Northfield Mass, His father was Herbert F. Randolph, Sr., a methodist minister. His father, the name escapes me, was also a minister... then I'm lost. I know we decend from the brother of Nathaniel FitzRandolph, of Princeton, NJ. I know of Nathaniel's land contribution to Princeton University & have photographed the plaque in the dorm wall that marks where the family's remains now lie. I'll find the info & get back. I haven't had time to study it since having my two sons, Ben & Jon! If any of you know of my grandfather or great-grandfather, I'd love to hear from you! My mom was Doris Jean Randolph, now of Freehold, NJ, & her sister was Betty Joan Randolph, now of Princeton, NJ. Betty has two children, Dorothy "Lee" Rozycki, of Phillipsburg, NJ, & William England, of South River, NJ. Doris & Betty had one first cousin, daughter of Herbert's older brother, Donald, who's name is Helen, who lives in CA. The middle sister, Dorothy, never had children. I haven't had time to sift through all the postings, but I'd love to be in touch, then pass the good news on to my family! Notify Administrator about this message?
