I saw the Fitz-Randolph name and knew we had to be related! I'm a Davis, descended from Samuel Fitz-Randolph, but then my line goes through his daughter (Jesse's sister), Nancy. I am from Salem, W.Va. which is a town settled by a group of Seventh Day Baptists from N.J. in 1792, on land that was owned by Samuel Fitz-Randolph. There are still lots of Randolphs there (most have dropped the Fitz), including former W.Va. senator Jennings Randolph. Thanks so much for the link to Casey!
