I'm also interested if Samuel & Amey had a son named Samuel, Jr. A DNA test of a descendant of my Randolph b. ca. 1796 NC; married Nancy Pearl Reed; lived for a number of years in Bledsoe Co., Tn.; then moved to Saline Co., Il. where he died proves us to be FitzR. Samuel and Amey seem to be the logical choice for ancestors. Can anyone shed any light on this?
