Hi Joan, My mother-in-law was a Fitz Randolph. She accessed material from Salt Lake City some 20 years ago. From that I have Edward's [1607] mother as Frances Howes who married 1605 Edward FitzRandolph. Edward's first wife was Alice Thompson m. 1589. Son, Edward b. 1607 m. Elizabeth Blossom. He was the Pilgrim and progenitor of the Fitz Randolph family in America. This source is from "The Descendants of Edward Fitz Randolph and Elizabeth Blossom 1630-1950" by Louise Aymar Christian and Howard Stelle Fitz Randolph. I also have copies from the book, "Fitz Randolph Traditions" A Story of a Thousand Years, by L.V.F. Randolph, 1907, published under the auspices of the New Jersey Historical Society. Chapter IX traces the line of descendancy from Rolf the Norseman Conquereor, b. A.D. 680 to Edward the Pilgrim. Pretty awesome!!! Hope this helps. Lucy Carver Notify Administrator about this message?
