There was a William Randolph who came to Columbiana County, Ohio. He was from the Prince William line of Randolphs from VA.
This William was born in 1763. The Fitz Randolph line had an Edward who I believe was a brother to the Samuel who settled New Salem, VA/WVA. This Edward settled I believe; if I remember right; Astabula County, Ohio. He had a son named Richard. My Fitz Randolph line descends from John and Mary Davis Fitz Randolph of Mahoning County, Ohio, through their son David Davis Randolph. The Fitz was dropped in many cases; which makes the research much more difficult.
