Looking for April 1904 Alachua co. newspaper

I am trying to find out the details surrounding the death of my great grandfather. He was a Methodist preacher. Older family members say he was murdered. The Florida United Methodist Church archives contain only the following statement. Does anyone have a newspaper from Alachua county from April of 1904?

"Rev. Albert Sydney James Allen, born in the great State of Alabama, came to Florida 28 years ago and entered the ministry 14 years ago. He served some of our leading appointments in this conference. As a school teacher he was an acceptable one in the county. His untimely death and
the way it occurred was lamented by all. Died at San Pulaski, FL, April 2, 1904."

Thanks,
AA
