Looking for information on the first husband of Jane Elizabeth Sanchez (Jane E. or Janie), my great-great-grandmother. She was the daughter of George Washington Sanchez and Sarah Ann (Harrison) Sanchez.
I know that Jane was first married to a James Davis, but I know little else. The children I know of from this marriage are Sarah Francis (Davis) Knight, James Dillon Davis, Pancheta Davis (?), and one more infant according to the 1870 census. She is listed as the "head of house" in the 1870 Census living in Levy County, so I assume James, her husband, has died (or left) somewhere around the time of the 1870 census as the infant listed is one month old.
Jane later married William James "Bud" Hamilton on May 7, 1879 (Alachua County).
Any information on James Davis (i.e death date, burial place, etc) or the other two children (Pancheta and the infant) would be greatly appreciated.
