Kirby and mystery wife, Columbia Co, FL by Teresa Andrews of 154 In the 1880 census of Columbia Co., FL, John's wife is listed as Leanna--age 33 born in SC--parents born in SC. The listing in the Columbia Co., FL Marriage Records of S.E. I'm sure was a mistake in the perception of the records transcriber. The letter "S" and "L" looked very similar, and unless the transcriber did some comparing of other handwriting in the same records, they may have assumed the letter "L" was an "S".
