H. M. Summers was born in Newberry District, South Carolina, and in 1853
he moved to Florida, where he has been a faithful citizen, a good husband
and a loving father until the death angel came and bore him away April
14, 1904. He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn his death and a
host of friends and relatives. While we can't help but grieve, we know he
now enjoys that rest that remains with the people of God.
