My 2nd g-grandfather, John A.M. Kirby, married a woman whose name was something like Leanna Weghman. Because I can't quite decipher her actual name (Leanna? Leannah? Weghman? Wickham?) it's been difficult to find out anything definitive about her and her birth family. She and John were married on 15 Nov 1879 in Columbia County, FL. Leanna's father's name was probably Matthew Weghman/Wickham.
Leanna died 9 Dec 1910 in Columbia Co, FL. She is buried at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lake City. Her husband John died in April 1921 and is buried at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetary in Lake City. She and John had three children:
* Effie Kirby. She seems to have been married twice, to a Mr. Roberts and a Mr. Driggers (?????)
* Annie Stella Kirby (b 26 Nov 1881, d 6 Nov 1919, buried at Pleasant Grove in Lake City), who married Edward Franklin Hill of Lake City, FL.
* William Davis Kirby, who was born in May of 1886 and lived only 1 month.
