There were two familes in Columbia County in this time. One from Alexander Filson Hunt and James Franklin Hunt both were the sons of Samuel David Hunt. Samuel David Hunt was Born in Union County, South Carolina, Feburary 2, 1789. Married Charlotte Dodd in Union County, was in the war of 1812 and died September 1855 in Nassau County, Florida. The family seem to be in an area called Houston, Swannee Co. in the 1870's. There is a church at place called Huntsville Methodist Church where many are buried. Hope this helps.
