My GGGrandfather was Alonzo Johnson and his wife Georgia Ann or Georgiann;Their daughter Mary Ellen was my GGrandmother. She is said to have been born in Lake City c. 1867 - 1873 and according to 1900 census, both her parents were born in Florida as well.Family lore has it that we are related to James Mitchell "Acrefoot" Johnson, son of Elias Johnson and Elizabeth Keen. Elias was son of James Madison Johnson.I can't find any trace of any of my folks anywhere, although I find Acrefoot and Elias.It is possible Alonzo was a middle name, and it is possible that Georgiann is the wrong name. Mary Ellen is reported born Dec 15, 1867 in Lake City. I think that is incorrect and that she was born c. 1873.Does anyone recognize these folks?
