Chester G Holmes (b 1814 CT) apparently lived in Apalachicola from 1839 to the 1860's. We know he was a cotton broker and ship owner. His son, Charles Tomlinson Holmes appears in a composite photo of prominent businessmen of Apalachicola in the FL Photographic Archives. Would appreciate any leads. Thanks.
