i do not know if she was married before, she had mattie when she married james prescott, i just know that the prescott names listed in the bible was noted as my grandmother's half- brothers:

argon gillespie b- 29 dec 1849\according to this record argon gillespie died 1885/86
thier is a note that says they lived in house going to hart's cemetery
i remember going to this house once when i was very young
there had been a death in the family, don't remeber what year, what i remember most is that one of the ladies was smoking a corn cob pipe.
