Hi,
You've asked the very question that I have been curious about. My great-grandfather, Duncan H. Wilson, also died in Holmes County in October, 1918. I've been unable so far to get a death certificate for him, so I can't say for sure that he died because of the flu epidemic.

Hopefully, someone has some info related to the epidemic in Holmes County and will share with us!
