To Hardy and Mary Ann (Baxter) Hart was born the following children: David, b. about 1834-13 may 1878 , Mary Ann, b. about 1836 married Anderson Smith on 30 July 1858, William M., born about 1838 - 1862 Atlanta, Ga, Judy or (Judah) born about 1840 married William C. Ducker on 27 Sept 1855., Margaret born about 21 Oct 1844.
The wife Mary Ann (Baxter) Hart was dead by 1845 and may have died in childbirth of the youngest child in Jackson County, FL.
After her death Hardy married Mary Ann (Polly) Strickland on 16 Jan 1845 in Jackson County, FL.. Her parents were James Y. Strickland and Tabitha MaidenNameUnknown.
