Thanks Doris for answering. I am trying to find the biological father of Henry L. Brooks who married Martha A. Coonrod in 1874. Henry's father died soon after Henry L. was born in 1852, and by 1860 his mother was remarried, so Henry didn't appear in the 1850 census. He appeared in the 1860 census but with a stepfather as head of the family. Any help would be appreciated.
