Hello,
I am researching my grandfather's family. His name was Isaac Jesse Sapp b. 1899 Irwin County, Ga. d. 1968 Minneola, Lake County, Fla. In the early to mid 1920s he and his wife, Alice Lucas Sapp, along with his mother, Sophronia Bussell Sapp, b. 1862 GA. d. 1929 Clermont, Fla. and his sister Minnie Sapp Walker, b. 1885 GA. d. 1937-1957 Clermont, Fla. moved to and settled in the Clermont/Minneola area.
My grandfather, Isaac, was the police officer in Minneola for more than twenty years before his death in 1968. He and my grandmother raised 8 children there. Minnie Sapp married Benjamin Walker (not sure if they married in Ga. or Fla.) They had several children, one of which was Pearl Walker Causey b.? d. sometime in the 1990s.
Any information on this family would be helpful, particularly information on Sophronia's husband who was listed on her death certificate as Sam Sapp. Thank you.
