Hello.
I'm planning a trip to Groveland to try to glean some information on my father's family and have no clue as to where to start my search. The two things I really want to locate are my father's birth certificate (born in Groveland, 1922) and the cemetery where his sister was buried (died circa 1922).
Dad said that my grandparents moved down there from Georgia because of something to do with my grandfather's job: the turpentine business.
Can anyone offer me any advice as to where to start? Any help will be appreciated.
