Lucy Louise Newsom was in the class ahead of me in Williston High School. I lost touch with her after we graduated. She and her parents and I believe there was a younger sister, lived one block from my parents and me. Her father, Jake, was a County Commissioner or City Councilman. I forget which. My father ran against him and won which did not make Lucy Louise and I best of friends at our young and tender age. I often think of her and the good times we had. We were in Girl Scouts, Played on the H.S. Basketball team, she on the first team and me on the second, went on swimming parties, etc. I have pictures of those days... What is it you want to know?
