Thought this obit (below) might be of interest to you. Interment for this man was to be in the
"Jesse Mercer Willis Family Cemetery" in Williston, FL .... and his surviving wife is Elizabeth (WILLIS) JEFFERS.

Douglas C. Jeffers, 61, died Oct. 23, 2003.
He was born in Fort Pierce and was a resident of Royal Palm Beach, coming from Jupiter.
Mr. Jeffers was a third-generation Florida vegetable grower who managed operations in Palm Beach and Lee counties.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Willis Jeffers of Royal Palm Beach; son David Jeffers of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter Michelle J. Parker of West Palm Beach; sister Lora J. Smith of Fort Pierce; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd and Duward Jeffers.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, West Palm Beach. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, West Palm Beach. Further service and interment will be held in the Jesse Mercer Willis Family Cemetery, Williston.
