There seems to be a discrepancy on George C. SNOWDEN's parents' places of birth... at least between the following 3 censuses. It's been several yrs. since your post, so don't know if you have this info yet. If not, maybe it'll be helpful in other ways too.
Have you been able to get back farther than 1870 for his parents yet? If not, I'll see what else I can find.
