* 1850 US Fed. Census - Division 14, Alachua County, FL - Enumeration Date: 25 October 1850 - Line #'s 31 thru 33, Dwelling House #63, Family #63:

Henry SNOWDEN - 24 M Farmer born South Carolina, Person over 20 yrs of age who cannot read or write
Charity SNOWDEN - 17 F born South Carolina
James M. SNOWDEN - 4 MONTHS, M born Florida

[Margie,
Note: so this is definitely the same Henry SNOWDEN family as the one on the 1870 Census I posted earlier - who is the family of your George SNOWDEN - ... the son James M. was listed on 1870 census as J. Madison SNOWDEN. So either Charity/Charlotte are the same person, or I read her name wrong on the 1870 census (but didn't think I did).
Also, Charity's age might be 19 but sure looks like 17 on the 1850 census. Either way, she was very young when they married in 1847! (see their marriage info that I posted separately.)
