Hello,
I am searching for information on the family William Shipp. He married Phoebe Driggers Strawn ab. 1858 in Levy county Florida. He served in the First Florida Cavalry during the Civil War. He died ab. 1902 and is buried in Dog Ear Cemetary (aka Black Dirt Cemetery)at the Marion/ Levy County line.
Any information on his parents, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
