I'm doing research on the civilian aircraft early warning between 1942-1944. I'm especially researching about the Observation Tower at Hobe Sound and Jupiter Island beach.
It was built on the beach in 1942 for volunteers to watch the beach, Atlantic Ocean and sky for any aircraft or ships that didn't belong. I need a photo of that tower. If anyone has
a photo of the watch tower before it was torn down, I would greatly appreciate a copy. Thank you.
