SWEET family of Gadsden County

I am researching the Gospero SWEET & Benjamin S. SWEET families of Gadsden County. Gospero had come to FL from Decatur Co. GA around 1825. He was a Methodist preacher & owned a considerable amount of land around Quincy. It is said that he lived on "Forbe's Purchase" land. He died around 1853 & is buried in Mt. Pleasant Cem.
Benj. S. SWEET was one of his sons. Benj. served in the Civil War in the 5th FL Calvary. He & his family is found on the 1870 Montgomery County, TX census.
Any help will be greatly appreciated & will gladly share what info I have.
