The family of William J.(E. in some records)Spears and Elizabeth Viella (or Viola)Barwick Spears included two children. William Spears was an attorney and practiced in the central Gulf coast area of Florida. Their children were born in Rosewood, Levy County, Florida. Both William and Elizabeth Viola died of diptheria fever a few days of each other in 1891. Their two children, Elizabeth V. and Hugh were sent by their paternal grandmother, Rebecca (Spears) West to a maternal great aunt (Miss Julia Barwick) in Wildwood Fl for care after their parents death. I have other information. I am interested in any information about William Spears siblings and other family members. Hope there is some connection.
