My ancestor was Eliza (Bruster)Brewster, born Dec. 1812, SC, died May 1, 1909, buried Mt. Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery, Santa Rosa Co., FL. She was married to Levi White, SR. born 1798 in SC, died Aug. 1870 in Golliad, TX. She was the daughter of James Madison Brewster, born Apr. 7, 1788 in GA, died Mar. 20, 1866, buried Old Spinks Cemetery, Lauderdale, Sumter Co., AL and Mary Polly Smith. her siblings were Christopher Columbus, James Washington, Henry J., Sarah Ann, Hiram Hamilton, Louisa M., Sabastian Lafayette, Mary Ann, and Stephen Brewster.

Her grandparents were Henry (Bruster) Brewster, Sr., born about 1758 in Augusta, VA, died after 1816 Cuba, Sumter, Clark Co., AL. and Margaret Louisa Bowens, born about 1758 in Augusta, VA, died about 1817 in Sumter Co., AL. I have more information on this line.

Thanks, Gloria
