Looking for death date:
Marcus J. "Mark" Holmes
Born Oct 1891 IL died when/where ?
Married about 1915 where ?...possibly in FL. Couple had no children.
The last info I have for him is the (below) 1930 Census with rank of Sgt. U.S.Army.
Any further info is greatly appreciated !!

Mark Holmes, a member of the electrical engineers, stationed at old Fort Taylor, Key West, Florida, leaves tonight for Galesburg, to spend the rest of his furlough. Mr. Holmes came to Quincy to attend the funeral of his father, Oscar Holmes, who died last week. Quincy is the old home of Mr. Holmes, but he lived in Galesburg for some time before he enlisted and this is his first visit here for some time. He returns to Key West March 28.
