My father was Carl Dean Henderson. He was born in Santa Rosa County, Bagdad, Florida in 1918. He performed vaudeville shows at the Saenger Theater in Pensacola, Florida. He was 8 when he auditioned for the local vaudeville show.
I would love to communicate with anyone who has information, stories from parents, or newspaper articles of those shows in the late 1920's through early 1930's.
My dad was present at the Anniversary Gathering of living performers, I believe it was in the mid 1980's. The Pensacola News Journal published a picture of him standing by the cake. If anyone was in attendance or has any information, I would be so appreciative.
