Here are a couple of starting points:

Florida Death Index, 1877-1998 Florida Death Index, 1877-1998
Name: Robert Floyd McKenney
Death Date: 1945
County of Death: Lee
State of Death: Florida
Race: White
Gender: Male

The 1920 Federal Census for New Prospect, Lee County, Florida (which you have) shows Floyd, wife Bessie, and daughter Bertha.

The 1930 Federal Census for Miami, Gila County, Arizona shows Floyd, Bessie, Betha, and four more children. The ages of all the children makes it appear that the family was in Florida until about 1927.

They seemed to have moved around a lot.

Bessie was from TN.

Floyd should appear somewhere in the 1880/1900/1910 Censuses, and in the World War I Draft Registration.

Good luck!
