Hello Thomas! First let me say that I am very sorry for calling you Kevin in my last post. Where I came up with that name, I haven't a clue. But I am sorry for the mistake. Now... I found Mary A. Glissons birthdate. She was born about 1861 in Jackson Co., Fla. William and Mary A. married in 1879 in Jackson Co. Fla. I found an Andrew Simms in the 1880 Census in Ancestry.com which was right above William and Mary Ann's name. I'm wondering if this could be his father? Oh, also Mary Ann's father was Joseph Glisson and he married a Martha Bauldree. I believe I have a marriage date for them, but I will have to go through my records to find it. As for Delilia. I'm wondering if she died at an early age? I cannot seem to find her after the 1880 Census. The Sims/Simms line is my last family line to trace. I know from my grandmother and other family members of the Glisson family who have sent me their documents that the Glisson's were Cherokee. Now if I can only trace the Sims back, I will be able to close my book. So if you ever come across anything that you think may be of interest or help to me, I would GREATLY appreciate it!! And I thank you so much for the help you have sent me already! God bless and have a great day!! Thanks again, Debra Notify Administrator about this message?
